My disc brakes on the cheap
I just wanted to share my 12 bolt disc break install. I have read lots of threads where people had started this but I havent seen one that actually finished it.
Parts list: Caliper brackets: http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Weld-O...cket,3348.html LH Caliper: https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/b...rwd?q=brake+ca RH Caliper: https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/b...rwd?q=brake+ca Rotors: https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/b.../astro?q=rotor Brake pads: https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/b...rwd?q=brake+pa Break line: http://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo....030565&jsn=470 Cost came out to $201.57 for the 12 bolt side, I still haven't done the new proportioning valve yet. I have the 600HP Fitech sitting on my kitchen table and I'm waiting to see how much vacuum my engine will pull before I decide on my new master cylinder. The XE294H cam only pulled 8" of vacuum with the Holley 750 DP so I doubt it will be enough to run my booster. Calipers are 1980 D52 front calipers, Rotors are 1999 AWD astro van rotors, Break lines are front lines from a 1980 c10. If I do it again I will clock the rotor more in the 9 o'clock position and I still need to fab a bracket to hold the brake line. Hope this helps someone down the road.

Re: My disc brakes on the cheap
Yes, If it was a daily driver or a manual I would be a little more concerned about not having an E-brake, although if there was an easy way to add one I wouldn't be opposed to it.
I feel like I have seen an aftermarket d52 caliper with a e-brake lever on it so if anyone knows of one let me know.
