56 3105 Panel truck - rear door hardware - internals
My buddy purchased a panel truck 10 years ago. The rear barn doors were in the truck but no internal parts for the latching of the doors. Does anyone know the years that would work in these doors?? Going to Carlisle in 2 weeks - want to try to find parts there. Thanks !!

Here is quick shot with 1 door propped in place. I have all the hinges. Just need the innards that help latch doors closed. Not sure how to fix / rotate picture on this site. Sorry - it is not on it's side !! Plate was off my Chevelle to see how it looked after frenching it in.

Here are a few links to a old 1929-57 GM Parts manuals that will help in your search.
The first link will get you to the illustrations section,(see page 1046) it will give you the group #'s and from there you can get the part #'s from the 2nd link from there is google search time! http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com...57cmpc1039.htm http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com...arts/index.htm Hope this helps! |

Re: 56 3105 Panel truck - rear door hardware - internals
Two years or so ago I was hunting for all the missing pieces for my 52 there was a fair amount of TF era NOS & Used items showing up on ebay ..
I ended up finding a member here that had everything for a more than a fair price so I was able to get everything in one shot.. Also keep your eye out over on the Stovebolt. com they have a large classifieds section as well as a panel and burbs forum.. As far as the TF and later interchange , I have no idea. |
