Re: anti sway bars/ anti roll bars and airbags
I'd say that depends on how the bags are intended to be used. For the guys who want an adjustable ride height with the ability to set a great stance they should work pretty well For the "I wanna make it look like the suspension is broke" brigade they won't work well at all and I doubt many even consider it.

Re: anti sway bars/ anti roll bars and airbags
i was told you needed to have at least a front one fitted to help stiffen the suspension up as the airbags are a softer spring.. trouble is with my setup (xj6 jag) its the lowest part of the suspension and is bottoming out quite a lot

Re: anti sway bars/ anti roll bars and airbags
sway bars help in cornering, 2 is always better than 1, but 1 is better than nothing

Re: anti sway bars/ anti roll bars and airbags
Sway bars will help prevent body roll, where the body / frame is tilting to one side relative to the suspension. It will act like a stiffer spring in uneven side to side loads.
Straight up and down loads, a sway bar is invisible. You would still bottom out just as badly. You only notice the difference when cornering or, at speed, trying to change lanes quickly.

Re: anti sway bars/ anti roll bars and airbags
I used say bars in the front and rear and many people have commented on how well my truck handles corners. It stays flat through the curve.
If you have room I would utilize them. Marc

Re: anti sway bars/ anti roll bars and airbags
I have had about 15 bagged rides over the years and sway bars are essential. sometimes you have to shorten the end link a little or upgrade to a balljoint type end link, to keep the sway bar from holding the truck up and keeping you slightly off the ground but most times they work uninhibited.
a good rule of thumb is, if it came with a sway bar, leave it. if it didnt, install one.
