Hello, new guys here hailing from West Virginia. With a 1968 C10.

[1968 baby blue C10]

Hello. I am 100% new to forums. Never used one before. Hard to believe, I know, being 21 years old. Anyways, Just 3 months ago I came to be the proud owner of a 1968 baby blue C10, long bed (hence the username) with a 307, a SM465, and a 4.11 rear end. Basically a no options truck other than side trim. Tag is still completely legible in glove box. It has 74,000 original miles on it. It is basically all original, even has the dealer bumper from Morrilton Arkansas. Never been painted. And has a tasteful patina on it. I believe the tailgate and the fenders had been replaced sometime in the past with donors from another truck. The only modifications is the truck has been lowered about 5 inches by my guess, I don't know the exact front and rear drop, it has rally wheels, 15x8 on the front and 15x10 on the rear, 255/60/15 tires on the front and 275/60/15 on the rear, and someone in the past put a four barrel carburetor on it, Front disc brakes, and an old school power steering pump.. Thanks man. And I could get some more pics. What kind of side pictures do you mean? And by rear wheel do you mean where you can see the tire width?
And that's awesome man. What color is your friends? 67-70 are my favorites of this body style.

Just pictures of tire/wheels in the fenders, and what the wheels look like off set wise.
My buddies 70 is a medium blue. 350, same trans as yours, but has rear leaf springs, no AC, power brakes bur no power steering. Musta been ordered as a farmer special...

Here's a couple more pics man. It's sitting in the garage so it's hard to get really good pictures. The tires fill the fenders pretty perfectly in my opinion. Just right really.
And yeah that sounds exactly like my truck. I know mine was a farm truck because there was an inch of dirt in the glove box and ash tray haha. No options whatsoever. The last guy who owned mine put power steering and front disc brakes on it. I don't mind though because it's the period correct pump. And mine doesn't have power brakes so the front disc really helps. Mine has coil spring on all corners. Which I love, it rides like a Cadillac. Mine doesn't have AC either. I threw in a picture of the options plate too.

Very nice. I've seen those car type rally wheels on pickups, they look nice!

I'm guessing that it's converted to 5 lug, front and rear. I can't imagine anyone making those wheels in 6 lug, who knows...

I prefer the 4 corner coil springs, the ride IS awesome!!!

Your trim looks pretty straight, never seen any original trim looking that good!!!

Thanks man. They've got a little rust forming where someone scratched them with the beauty rings. I'm going to repaint them soon. And no it's actually still a 6 lug. They do make them, but only a couple company's do. I've seen them up to 15x14 in six lug.
And yeah when I first test drove it the suspension blew my mind. I figured it would ride like a tank. It rides better than my cars haha.
And really? I've never really seen any other original trim to compare before I don't guess. A couple pieces are new and shiny. The little tiny pieces on the rear of the cab are new, and one of the short pieces at the back of the bed is new. Other than that it's all original.
