Can anyone help me identify what differential this is.

That is an eaton 10 bolt rear end. It has an open differential. They used to make lockers for it but they stopped many years ago. If you have a 4x4 i would swap it for something you could put a posi unit in like a GM 14 bolt.

A detroit locker was available from the factory for the Eaton. If equipped, it's probably on the SPID.
I believe the OP has a '69 2WD 3/4 ton

Wow you are good, any idea what the gear ratio is on this. It's not to good on the highway and I would like to regear if possible.

1972 ended the use of the Eaton HO52 axle in GM vehicles. It was only available in 4.11 and 4.56:1 ratios. I don't believe there are any aftermarket gearsets.
Your best choice would be convert to an overdrive transmission for better drivability. In my Suburban, I installed a '75 GM corporate 14 bolt with a 3.73:1 gear and a 700R4 overdrive transmission. Perhaps not the greatest combination for performance but it works well for me.
