60's Chevy Gmc interchangeable parts

New member, thanks for any feedback in advance. I am in the process of replacing the front clip on a 1965 GMC 1000. Rust was a large issue with many of the original parts. My question is what is the difference with a Chevy radiator core support vs. a GMC core support, same question applies to the grill support? Or is it possible to use the Chevy support on a 65 GMC? And what if any modifications does it take? I am trying to source all parts from one supplier.... LMC, American Classic...etc

Radiator support should be the same.
Grill support may have a different arrangement of holes depending on grill - gmc vs Chevy. But ordering from Lmc or other suppliers may not matter. I do know that the grill support is different at the lower section to accommodate the 60-62 frame vs 63-66. But again, not sure if the supplier gives you either option based off year or make.
Some members prefer buying from a member parting good condition parts because of the fitment issues sometimes encounter with aftermarket parts.

I almost forgot why some avoid certain suppliers.
If I remember correctly, many here prefer to get their aftermarket body panels from Top Banana because of the brand they carry.
