spark plugs

is there anyone out there that has used Accell spark plugs in their 350's? I have a '72 swb, and have had some problems with these plugs. They clear the header pipes ok, but in two instances the electrode end of the plug was bent closed. Any one use a different plug that clears header pipes?

Bosch Platinum's are the same size as the Accell plugs.

I ran Accel plugs for a week in my old 350 engine I used to have in my truck. My engine did not run good with them.
