Howdy! 68 Chevy fever is back!

Just want to introduce myself. I'm Johnny, and I am brand new to the forum. I think I covered most of the bases in my profile setup. Looking forward to getting my 68 C10, (straight 6, 6 lug wheels, springs...) back on the road, and maybe some resto as well. This truck served me well for the 14 years I drove it daily, though I lost a fair amount of blood, sweat, and tears along the way keeping it on the road! Ironically, I swapped in a fully rebuilt motor. I also installed an under-dash AC with a Sanden compressor bracket/belt modification... Then I wound up parking it maybe 6 months, (5,000 miles) later. It's ALL manual, and the price on the 97 work truck was to good to pass up. It's cooling off here in Texas and it's time to revive this beast. In the past, (money wise) I have always placed performance over looks with this work horse. Now some 9 years later I'm excited about doing a little of both... for fun!
