1972 Heater Control Cables
Working on a 72 and the heater cables are awfully tight to maneuver. Is replacing them a good idea before we bend the levers?

Re: 1972 Heater Control Cables
Your OEMs are much better than re-pops. Pull your glovebox liner (I know) and carefully remove the cables. Hang them up let penetrating oil to run down thru them overnight, exercise them a bit and put them back in. You can do it quicker but I'm lazy. I've already replaced 2 sets of repop cables with recycled OEMs like this.

Re: 1972 Heater Control Cables
Welcome aboard by the way. The levers break easily. Pot metal
