72ironmike, is $1500 plus shipping a good deal?
I'm a newbie, as it's my first C10 project.
Thanks,
v/r,
Gary

I have a decent 1969 GMC drivers side fender I can send you a picture when I get home Friday. Check this thread out

First off I would ask what you were looking for in your build ? Personally I would not ever pay 1500 for a pair of fenders but that is me. Aftermarkets are available for around 175 each and do not fit that bad at all that is what I have on my 68, or if you have the skill and patience you can restore your originals with available patch panels.

Re: Wanted 67/68 Hood and Fenders

I have a 1967 hood and both front outer fenders I'll let go for what I have in those. The hood needs some rust repair at the front although the bondo is still holding up and I couldn't tell there was even bondo in it when I bought it. The fenders need front cup repair.

I've had these for nearly 20 years and my parents really want those gone. I have $150.00 in those. I could ship but it would greatly increase your costs. I could meet you somewhere in WV or VA if needed.

I have all the original hood letters also.

I am going to West Virginia on 11/26 and coming back on 12/8 If you make a deal I could bring them back for you.

Re: Wanted 67/68 Hood and Fenders

Thanks for all the great advice.
It looks like I will be going the aftermarket route to save some money.
I'm doing research now to figure out who makes the best aftermarket parts.
Any advice, or first had experience with aftermarket parts would be greatly appreciated.
v/r,
Gary

I have rust free 68 fenders and hood, but they're in WI and shipping could be a nightmare.

Cypress, I would be interested in the fenders and hood if Jumbo doesn't want them. Depending on shipping cost.

Definitely a lot of money. I think you could find rust free originals for $150 to $250 each. Fastenal ships fairly cheap. Good luck.
