Differences between Edelbrock Performer Intakes
Was fortunate to buy an Edelbrock 3701 for very low dollars, and am wanting to compare it's aspects to a 2701 before putting it to use. Have not been able to find comparative info/specs online. Anyone know about how the 3701 is different from the 2701?

Re: Differences between Edelbrock Performer Intakes
Google says the 2701 is the Performer EPS intake and the 3701 is an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) intake.

Re: Differences between Edelbrock Performer Intakes
3701 is also a spread bore flange, so perfect if you have a quadrajet. 2701 has no egr, but it has a squarebore flange, good for holleys and edelbrock carbs.

Re: Differences between Edelbrock Performer Intakes
Thanks Mike and dflarsen - it has the spread bore inlet, which is what I need for the Q'jet, and I think I can defeat the the EGR aspect now that I know what it is. Does that sound correct? Thanks for the info.
