Rear View Mirror pane
The mirror glass in one of my 72 rear-views is cracked - the rest of the item is in good shape. Anyone had success in finding or having made a replacement pane - and installing it in the OEM frame?

Re: Rear View Mirror pane
What type of mirrors do you have? I've got data on the sport mirrors as well as have replacement glass.

Re: Rear View Mirror pane
Randy, not sure about "kind" as far as a specific designation is concerned, but it's for a Chev PU 1972 that goes over the stud glued to the windshield and it has ball swivel adjustments on the arm. The shape looks to be very standard with other Chev mirrors, has the flip lever for dimming, and I was surprised about how thick the mirror glass is. Didn't measure, but looked more than 1/8" thick.

Re: Rear View Mirror pane
I have a mirror that has clouded glass and have been thinking about contacting the Mirror Lady. I found the link below in the "NCRS Restorer" magazine. I believe the glass is the same as used in most GM 10" mirrors of our vintage.
