Motor mount differences
If I install 73+ C20 motor mounts in my '68 c10, will the engine be raised higher as compared to the 67-72 v8 motor mounts? I am not looking to raise my engine, but that is what I believe the end result will be.

Re: Motor mount differences
This is from memory so don’t beat me up if I miss something. The C20 clamshells work pretty good because the ‘73 up C20 frame height is close to ‘67-72 frame. You will have to trim the top of the frame rails back about 1/2” where the brackets sit so the top bolt holes will line up. You will also have to redrill the bottom holes. I remember one person doing the swap saying that his engine sat one inch higher but I don’t remember if he was using the C10 clamshells or the C20’s. My understanding is they are different.
