Hard turns kill engine.

On my '85 c10 305 th350, when I make a hard turn, sometimes the engine dies, but fires back up with a turn of the key. Why does this happen? Is there a way to fix it? Thanks.

Re: Hard turns kill engine.

Float is likely too high.

Has the carb been apart lately?

Re: Hard turns kill engine.

Before you pull it apart look for evidence of fuel on either side of the carb at the gasket level.
Or take a pic.
Easy to see.
