Hazard lites
Left frount hazard lite don't work all 4 signel lites work fine.took colum apart twice now, everthing looks fine. anyone know the right name for the dodad behind the hazard switch ? the one that makes contact when you turn on the hazard?Can I buy this one little part?or am I going the wrong way? 70 chevy truck ,tilt from 86 truck

Sounds like your whole turn signal switch needs replaced. That's the part behind the hazard switch.
The turn signals, hazard, and brake lights all go through the T/S switch. It's a bear to replace sometimes, but they are available. You might try this: wiggle your turn signal switch lever around when you have the flashers on. Sometimes they have a bad contact or don't return to the zero position very well. This usually causes only one brake light to come on so maybe it has an effect on your left front lamp. You might also want to verify that the left front is really working like it should, and not fooling you by flashing the park lamp. Turn on the park lights and check your turn signals and flashers again. Maybe you'll find a bad ground up there. Good Luck, and let us know what you find.

Thanks alot, don't think I ever checked the park lights didn't think about it . I'll check them and the ground before I replace the switch.The wife won't let me start on my 71 GMC 3/4 ton 4x4 untill her 70 is runing good.thanks again.
