I had mine chromed. Seems to be the easiest way to get what you need.

Understand that friend. Our local chrome plating shop closed down a few years ago so I would have to ship parts out of state to get done. I'll give it a little more time and see what happens. If no luck I may go that route. Thank you for the suggestion.

Odd, I'm picking up a SM465 shifter that I had chromed last week and I just spent 6 days in Louisville, KY. Just getting back home tonight. Wish we could have worked a deal out. I have a few other black shifters. Going to use this chrome shifter in my Blazer along with the NP205 shifter. The chrome shifters came in Cheyenne's, CST trucks

Dang, did you get yours chromed in Louisville? I was told only places near me was Nashville or someplace in Indiana.

No, In Florida, Space coast plating. I could of had one of my spares chromed, took it with me to Louisville. We could have made the transaction there. Unfortunately, not headed that way for a while. I'm just saying, if would have posted a few weeks ago, we could have worked it.

It cost me $110.00 to have one chromed.

Oh okay, well still all good information to know. I have a few black shifters, I could have one chromed if needed. Thanks again for the information.

Mike, there is a place in Lexington that still does it. His shop is off the Harrodsburg road side of Angliana . Right behind speedway. I know some guys that rent half the building from him. He was still in business last summer for sure. I can try to find out more info if you need me to.
