69 C10 fuel line removal
I'm trying to remove my fuel line from the frame rail. Getting it out of the rear and center clips was easy. How do I get the line out of the front clip, it seems to be a different type.

Anytime you are working with fuel lines, blow torch is your best bet. Failing that, go for shaped charges.
OK, done being silly. We really need pics to see what you are talking about. I removed mine the first go, no experience and I was pretty inexperienced then with tools. I had a little trouble getting one clip off, used a 1/2 inch drive ratchet and a ratcheting wrench....recall needing a neighbor's help for that. So it may be a 2 man job at one point. Get us pics. |

Thanks for the response. The clip I'm referring to is in the frame rail and the one furthest forward. I managed to pry it loose with a long screw driver and hammer.

Yours may have been rusted into place, I didn't have that problem.
