Do I need new back window rubber?
Maybe a stupid question, but I want to replace the small back window on my 56. The current rubber is only a few years old and looks new. Should I order a new rubber when ordering the window or can I get the old one out without ruining it and use that one? I’ve never done a window before, so have no clue. Thank you.

I would try to re-use the one you have if its only a few years old. Has it been inside or stored out in the direct sun. Depending on its quality and if left in direct sun it might have degraded but I bet you are okay to re-use it.

Re: Do I need new back window rubber?
if its still pliable and flexs easy and has no cracks it should be ok....but they're cheap enough to just put a new one in also...as cheaply as rubber quality is nowadays, I'd put a new one in personally

Re: Do I need new back window rubber?
Thanks guys, I’ll just order a new one even though this one looks good yet. It’s not big money after all.
