Re: How do i fix the pictures
Photobucket is now demanding payment in order to let pics saved there actually be viewed on other sites. It's a huge blow to information on forums.
This site allows members to post pics for free.....you can do that using the "Attach Files" area below your white post box. If you can't see that option then post a reply anyway, hit "edit" and then go into "advanced options" or whatever and go that route. |

Re: How do i fix the pictures
I lost my pictures too, but they were posted off Facebook. Networking is a racket.
Unlike any other product, they purposely break it and don't provide a fix. Go figure they're the wealthiest on Earth.

Did you offend a snowflake, get reported, and are now on a "24 hour ban" that never ends? I know a guy that happened to and he swore off FB forever.

If they are not your pictures and the thread you are trying to view was not started by you there is no way you can see them. If the thread was started by you and the photobucket pictures are yours, you can pay the $400, or whatever the ransom is, and get the pictures to magically re-appear. I have NEVER used photobucket and I'm damn glad..... LockDoc

He said "those dumb bit**es! First thing you know they were sending me all this private info on themselves and I realized I could sell that." The female show host picked up on that and zeroed in. He turned red, got quiet, and started apologizing. You do know, he was sued and settled for several million dollars for stealing the idea for FB from two fellow students in college. He has lately come out for a "world-wide min. wage" for every person on Earth. That is textbook socialism right there. Photobucket probably came under new control and the owner was blowing all his income on something. First came the massive amount of ads, so many the site was near useless as it took a day to load. Then came the offers of framing each pic you ever stored there and selling that back to you so you could hang it on your wall. (Not a bad idea but the constant ads on it were annoying). Now they want $400.00 to keep your pics viewable.....remember what happened to Netflix when they wanted to increase their monthly fee from $8.00 to $10.00? WORLD WIDE REVOLT AND CANCELLED MEMBERSHIPS. They dropped that idea 1 week later.....Photobucket's owner probably isn't that bright. |

Re: How do i fix the pictures
Browsing FB on a mobile device isn't as bad as FB on a PC browser.
With add block, auto-video disable, Flash-disable, and privacy-badger using Chrome, FB is bearable! -klb

Facebook is on-board with photo-bucket, only they break the link after some duration. To add to Ten's post, a former Facebook exec. explained how they understood Facebook is harmful to society, especially to children. At least we have the comfort knowing they're billionaires and know everything about us.

Customers on the $9.99 per month plan will soon pay $10.99. $11.99 per month subscribers will pay $13.99. Those using its $7.99 budget option won't see an increase. This is Netflix's third price increase for U.S. subscribers in the last three and a half years. Photobucket wants 400 a year now? That's 33+ a month. I guess if you had a zillion pictures and were guaranteed no adds it could be worth it. Not in my house. And yes this is the wrong area to post this, it should be in the general area. There have been a ton of posts on photobucket there

I guess I lost contact with about 5 FB personnel due to Trump Disfunction Syndrome. One of those was a man older than me who I had spoken with both on the phone and in person a few times. He not only deleted but blocked me for a comment I made about NPR....and I like NPR! I listen to them every chance I get when I drive....I think they are 100% biased and often I listen to them because they piss me off and thus I can better stay awake on the drive. Few people on FB are "friends." Myself, I would never allow a political disagreement to come between me and anyone. *And if I ever offend anyone on here, just send me a message. I will apologize and hopefully we can go on. I once got a Netflix account so I could watch a required movie for a graduate class. I kept the membership for a couple of years but I seldom watched anything on it. They never seemed to have any movies that were current or that I hadn't already seen. When my father needed his oxygen tank refilled (torch kit) I cancelled Netflix and got a lease on a tank. I think it's better to actually cut metal than sit on your butt and watch reruns....or watch anything for that matter. |

Re: How do i fix the pictures
google photos where my mobile automatically backs up to is free and easy to use..
been using dropbox free for years.. no ads or monkey business, just upload and paste links easy peasy, lemon squeezy pictures make the internet so much more enjoyable.. plain black and white text is boring, like reading the newspaper..
