Retro Silverado: I actually like it

Ran across these pics on Facebook - apparently a dealer did one and has received enough response they're doing more. Very tasteful, I think.

Thats neat. They forgot the pinstripe on the wheels though.

Re: Retro Silverado: I actually like it

Yep, all they had to do is give back the two-tone paint job that they took away. I don't know about the emblem, though. It's cool and all but something unique to the truck would be cooler.

Re: Retro Silverado: I actually like it

I have a blue 2015. It would look awesome on my truck.

Re: Retro Silverado: I actually like it

I like this idea. I actually saw it on facebook, too. I only wish the white came up a bit higher. It looks off balanced to me. I want it to go above the door handles and up to the next body lines on the tailgate and fender arches. Still, great idea and good execution.

Looks like they got the lines about as close to original as they could.

I like the over-all look, but the first thing I'd do is pull off the huge billboard commercial under the badge.

Re: Retro Silverado: I actually like it

I think it definitely helps the look of the new body style. It also sets it aside from the other brands that way.
