Blazer tank conversion - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

There's been a lot going on with these conversions and I'm in the middle of finishing mine up but I have a question on running lines and what to which and where.

On my original 70 tank, there was the filler and the supply. No vent or return to a canister. (Not sure if all years of our trucks have canisters or I'm running around missing something)

My new tank, 85 blazer with manual sending unit. I'm planning on hooking up the filler (obviously), I have the supply line run and will tie the vent into the filler neck but there are two other lines that I have capped right now. I know one is the charcoal and the other who knows.

Any help on how I should run these let me know.

I'll post pics of the install when complete.

One could be a return line would be my guess ... But not sure..

One should be used as a vent. I have a one way valve on mine. The other can go to a charcoal cansiter or cap it.

Thanks for the help. I just cap them off, truck runs fine the way its plumbed (hopefully, I only test ran it for a short time)

I suppose since I didn't have any other lines from my in-cab tank I'll be good.
