Anyone have a Behind the Seat Storage/ Tool Tray?
I seen USA 1 Industries has the Behind Seat Storage Tool Tray, I didn't know if anyone here has it and/or likes it, or if there's other options as far as in-the-cab storage? Thanks!

I had one back in the 80's and it was awesome. It was a heavy duty plastic unit. I forgot all about it until now but I wish I had another one.

Yep I got the one from USA1. I put Amp/Speaker Carpet on mine, just for more stability and rattles, if I did have anything back there.
The speaker pics are sideways. sorry

Re: Anyone have a Behind the Seat Storage/ Tool Tray?
I'm going to just be using scrap osb or similar material and wrapping trunk carpet around it, haven't decided if we will be putting a tray on it or not. I have some 6x9 speaker brackets I'll use to keep it in place. I got the brackets off the forums here in classifieds, bigblock73(?) makes and seels them.

I slapped together a few boards and shot them with rubber coating. It works.

Here is one I bought many years ago from Pep Boys. IIRC, Rubbermaid brand. There is enough room on the ends for the stock 4x10 speaker mounts.

I found this in the junk yard, it has a bunch of pockets. It is hard to see in picture but lower pocket could hold a rifle

I've got the cardboard version sitting in the garage if you want it (for the cost of shipping only). Pm me if interested and I'll shot you a pic.

Re: Anyone have a Behind the Seat Storage/ Tool Tray?
I built a custom box for my 83 so that I could store everything I wanted to carry with no wasted space. I used 1/2" plywood and solid 1x oak and left enough room for custom built speaker boxes in the corners. If you buy a store bought box you will have to accept the cubbies they designate, since they are not adjustable. Your best approach is to lay out everything you want behind your seat and then make a container to suit those items.
