Anyone found the correct gloss black engine enamel for these trucks?
I am talking about for like the intake manifold, block etc on these trucks mine is an 87.
Duple color's "ford semi-gloss" isn't a horrible match but it is too shiny. We need something just one notch down from that not sure if that would be a "satin" or not. BUT I didn't find a satin and it looked even more shiny which I thought it would have been the opposite. I then tried "low gloss black" that was really really dull. so can anyone help me because engine enamel paint isn't cheap! lol |

I use Sem trim black in a aerosol for a lot of things . Has a good semi color . Its a good color for all the things under the hood or trim . Has pretty good durability to it and covers well with a good finish if you are any good spraying with a can . Its about 12 to 15 bucks for a 15oz can . Even if you dont use it for your engine you will find it useful for your trim pieces .
