Fuel Tank/Sending Unit Advice Needed

I have a 69 K20 I’m building with a rebuilt 400 sbc in it. I want to relocate the fuel tank to under the bed. Since I’m considering a future LS swap I’m planning on using a 25 gallon tank from an 87 blazer since it will work if I ever do the LS swap since it’s baffled. My question is what will I need to do to make this tank work with my current setup? What sending unit will I need and will my factory fuel gauge work? Thanks.

Re: Fuel Tank/Sending Unit Advice Needed

I pulled my tank from a square body blazer and used the sending unit that was in the blazer. I was already using an electric inline fuel pump (don't know if it makes a difference). I wired in the tank to the factory gas gauge and it works fine.
