fan clutch = a race with rice

i am on my was home from a friends house with my girlfriend. we are sitting at this very long light so i try to find out why my engine is vibrating so badly. i put it in neutral and from idle and rev it very slowly to about 2 grand. to make a long story short, my fan clutch is stuck and bent causing the engine and everything else in the cab vibrate. little did i know there was a early 90's honda civic there next to me. the light turned green and he drops the clutch doing a massive burnout and taking off. i keep heading down the road while he turns in his flashers and hits the breaks hard. there is no traffic out and he completely stops in his lane . i obey the speed limit and pass him in my lane. as soon as i pass him he turns on his highs and starts accelerating. he signals into my lane and proceeds to ride my @$$. 5 miles later we come to another light, and i am getting very frustrated with this guy 2 inched away from my bumper. i put it in 2 and power brake it. for some reason both wheels spin even though i have one wheel peel, and smoke is everywhere. i know it was stupid of me but i was getting pissed off. after i marked my territory, i made a left to head home. i have no clue where he went off to because of the smoke, but i got my revenge.

why is it everytime something like this happens i am driving the wrong car. i needed my volvo!!

Personally I would have locked up the brakes and sold him my rear bumper and the bed, mainly to get new and to laugh my a$$ off when his car flew into pieces. I hate smart a$$ people that like to ride me. I guess it is a little pet pive of mine.

I had somebody ram the car behind me into my truck once and my trailer hitch wound up sitting right between the two front seats of that car.
It went right through the engine of that car splitting it into.
No one was hurt (thankfully) and my truck was not damaged.

These are tough trucks!!!

I would have done the same thing. Then get out and ask him if he still wants to tail you.

i would have first blinded him with my spot light.... if that didnt get him off my tail.. i would slow down to an incredibly slow speed, until he got mad and tried to pass, then sped up. if he still tailgated me, then i would slam on the brakes.

How about just ignoring this behavior? Driving a loud cammed 350 attracts alot of attention, and sometimes not the attention I desire. I know what my truck can do, and I believe it pisses them off more when there is no reaction, just minding my p's and q's. I believe that we should be a step above this kind of behavior.

I am with Hntrrcng on this one. You never know what kind of person they are and more importantly what kind of weapon they may have on them. I had a similar situation a few months back (some of you may remember the thread). I just went to the friggin police station and like the idiots they were...they followed me!

I would just have ignored them...they will eventually piss off the wrong person and get what they deserve...while the person who acted gets in trouble by our judicial system.

Is that what he was trying to do?
My mistake then. I'll be back later to flip that car back on all fours.
No jack needed this time.
