Anybody have experience with a Vapex rebuilt carb?

I am looking at rebuilt carburetors and have come down to a Vapex 1804473 or an Autoline C9262. They both show as being correct to replace my oem #. I can find very little feedback on Vapex and no feedback on Autoline.

Do any of you have experience with either of these companies?

I am leaning towards Vapex because their warranty is better and they are $13 cheaper.

The truck is out of commission, in northern Iowa, in a parking lot, nearly 100 miles from my house. At this point I'm willing to spend a little extra for the convenience of only having to find one day of decent weather and only making one extra trip.
Additionally, I have no heat here in my garage. So I would find it mighty hard to summon the motivation to rebuild it myself before Spring.

Find a friend that can rebuild it on-site. If you are mechanically inclined also, you totally can.

Sounds like it needs more than a carb though.

I bought my carburetor from nationalcarburetors.com, that's what I recommend.

I talked to someone at National Carburetor and explained my problem. Although they did not have the correct carb available at the moment, he told me a couple different things to do to my carb that he said he was certain would take care of my problem. Like I said though, I don't have anywhere with heat to rebuild the carb myself. The warmest weather in the next 2 weeks is going to be lower 30s. Unless we have an unusually warm spell, my garage won't get to above 50 until toward the end of March most likely. So doing a rebuild myself wouldn't happen until Spring. I did enough freezing my dang fingers off working in the cold when I was young and broke. Now, if I can't be bundled up to work in the cold, then the work just isn't that important. Or, to quote Danny Glover "I'm too old for this ****!"

Pretty sure I'm having issues with the float. It was flooding big time. The only way it would run smooth at all is if I kept it wound up over 3500. Would barely idle and only for a few seconds. Opened the hood and gas was leaking most of the way around the gasket between the lower plate and the body of the carb.

If the floats stuck just wack the carb near the needle seat with the handle of your favoritebig screwdriver.

If you don’t want to wack it and you have any rubber fuel line between the pump and carb just pinch it off with some pliers and then release the pressure. No fuel at first will drop the float and let it run. Letting the hose go will flush out the needle/seat.
