Re: Help with Color

My first thought was pink, but I'll settle for Light Green. Top left on the first chip chart:

Oh, I guess there is a truck in that pic

Looks dark green to me. The pic is kind of washed out, makes it look lighter.

That's why I first only saw pink. Even though it is washed out, looking at the '67 color chips, I didn't see a dark green (though would have been my guess, too) the first time. The pic wouldn't expand and I didn't see that there was a dark green. I believe that you are correct. I loved growing up in that era, what with all the miniskirts.

Re: Help with Color

I'd say long and somewhat tan.

Re: Help with Color

If you watch the video, it's actually a '71. Based on the stock colors available it is most likely 518 medium green.

Re: Help with Color

It sure looks like a black and white photo that has been "colored". Would they have done that to a motion film? Maybe. If they did color it, then the color may not exist.

That's a good point. Actually, the film isn't actually film footage at all. It's a series of photographs put together to illustrate the narrator's talking points about how Dodge is better than Chevy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JRP-5zpOGI
