Thinking of possible wrap?

So I just posted this on facebook asking if anyone has ever wrapped their C10. Not the entire truck but i was thinking of doing the sides of mine. Should be pretty easy. I'm a graphics guy so it is not new to me. But thoughts?

Really just wanted to get thoughts on what you all think of doing the sides in vinyl? But also color? Like I say just considering it and would be a fairly simple way to change up the looks without being permanent.

I think it's a great idea and I like all colors posted. Be a great way to change things up periodically without doing any damage especially since you are in the business already.

I think that's a really great idea, especially if you can't commit to one look. Great way to change it up every season or so and still get the look you want. Wraps these days look very good, and I think it would be indistinguishable versus paint when just doing the sides. For fun, I "wrapped" my truck recently for a Christmas parade using the same two tone side stripe concept:

Wraps lend themselves to some fantastic graphics. For crying out loud...If you what your truck to have hair like a wild bore, it can be done. I have always thought that flames would take on a whole new meaning if they were actual photos of flames. The sky is the limit, wait a minute...you want your truck to look like the sky...call a graphic artist and get to wrapping.

Oh yeah, it was a hit. Participating in the parade w/ my family was definitely the most fun I've had in the truck. Everyone on the sidelines loved the wrap too. People were pointing and commenting during the whole parade.

Great idea. We did our company truck, then changed our logo after about 3 years. the old one was in good shape, but came off without damaging the paint, then on with the new look!
Btw, I like the black stripe, just something a little different!

I have also been toying with the wrap idea on the sides.

I vote the gray color.

They wrapped the doors on a few police cars where I work and they didn't hold up but that is partly due to the officers gear on their belts rubbing on the front of the rear door as they got in. In a traditional setting it should do well.

I’d wrap it in solid red! Is there any concern with the wrap peeling if you don’t have something like an edge to bend it around? (As you can tell, I know nothing about wraps).
Btw - all your color options look great. I vote black or white.

Awesome idea! Having done some wraps before...the side panel idea wouldn't be too tough.

That's the best part...they don't need to be prefect. Any dents or large paint chips will show the texture if done properly. A clean even paint color will be a vast improvement in my opinion.

To be honest , I'm not a fan of the "patina" look. I think it does have a place on some trucks.
