Type of air bags
What type and or brand of air bags are most people running? I’ve used ride tech and some ebay specials and they seem to get the job done. The reason I’m asking is I’m considering try out the Firestone double convoluted bags. I read a article in a magazine awhile back talking about the different types of bags. They mentioned how that style bag handles better then a regular bag. So I’m thinking about trying them out. They cost a little bit more but if they handle better and are a higher quality it’s justifiable. Thanks

Re: Type of air bags
Ride Tech uses Firestone. I run them 2500 rear and 2600 front. Also run them on my Dodge Diesel 1 ton to level load when towing 5th wheel

Re: Type of air bags
The type of airbag you run will depend on your suspension set up. Usually you would run a convoluted style on a bag on bar set up and a sleeve type bag on a over axle type set up.

Re: Type of air bags
I'm running double convoluted Firestone's all the way around on my '61 Bel Air with Bilstein shocks. It rides & handles pretty well.
