Tailgate bumpers
Just curious as to why 2 different bumpers for the 60-66 Suburbans?
The one on the left I took off of my lower gate a few days ago so I could prep the gate for paint. The one on the right came off of a gate I had for parts. I never really noticed the difference at the time. |

I just replaced my original bumpers. a few look like yours, i think the metal core got bent over the years. I had "recoated" them with plastic-dip years ago so the plastic was more mishapped. the bumper on the left is what most of mine looked like, the center one is bent, the right is a new replacement.

All my originals were bent at 90°. Just a couple from the other gate were bent at 45°
