4 Speed Standard Transmission Identification

Trying to figure out what transmission I have in my 69 Longhorn. it is a 396 with a 4 speed standard tranny, with 1st gear being Duel Low/ Granny. It has this number indent stamped into the edge of the case. Also what color should it be? it looks like a red colored primer.
