new member needs pics

i'm a new member (migrated from CT forums), and i've noticed i'm not the only one to live ijn both worlds....

..i am in the middle of dismantling my '56 GMC 9300, right now i have all of the body off and working on removing the rest down to the frame. the plan is to drop in a 454, with a TH350 tranny.

i am looking for pics / suggestions that deal with a later step side bed on my '56. any body with any pics?

personally, i prefer the last 2 pics, mainly because they altered the new bed to have steps like the original bed.

overall, i hope this gives you a good idea. good luck!
