Need side springs for 67-72 bench seat bottom

As the title says, I am looking for a pair of the side springs for the bottom of a 71 bench seat. Those who have replaced covers know well these springs that hold up the outer part of the seat and seep one's rear end from sliding toward the door.
Anyone have a pair to part with or know of a source for reproductions?

Chuck,
Did you ever find a source for seat springs on a 67-72 bench seat?

I took mine apart yesterday, and I have 3 broken springs. I'm surprised these are not being sourced by parts suppliers who sell seat upholstery and foam.

Thanks, JP

Re: Need side springs for 67-72 bench seat bottom

I could never get those aftermarket springs to work- bolted in a piece of light angle iron at each side of seat to support edges..with good results.

67RSS I would love to see how you did this. It looks like I either do something like this or go to an upholstery shop to have them made.
