Until today you just pushed the handle down and closed the door. Now when you close the door it won't lock. I've pulled the door panel and you can see the locking tab and it just pops out when you close it. I've tried holding the button in as well but nothing works. Thoughts?

I have always locked mine from inside, never tried it before closing the door.

I believe the doors are intended to be locked, after they are closed.

push down push in open button and shut I thought but then I never have locked mine

Well every thing is lubed up and working smoothly. I did find there is a bolt that holds the arm wrest on that was rubbing on the arm.that goes to the lock. I think that might have been holding it in the lock position. Kinda a pain to have to lock it every time from the inside.

That's on my wish list too, to get a keyed button to put in. Then I can throw away the slat that I lock and unlock it with across the seat from outside the left door.
