LMC 2 1/4" dual exhaust system ?
Anyone use the LMC dual exhaust system with 2 1/4" pies on their truck? Thinking of ordering it but was wondering what the fitment was like. Does it run below the frame until it gets past the rear trailing arm cross member ? Would appreciate any info.

Re: LMC 2 1/4" dual exhaust system ?
I bought the kit for my truck. I bought the ones that to go straight out the back. They had to send me two new pipes from the muffler of the back. The first ones they sent were one piece. They were bent wrong. I had to call heartthrob. I told them I bought them from LMC. And they sent me new pipes that are two peice. They fit fine.

I was going to do the stock behind the tire exit. Those look good. Thanks very much for posting.

The kits are from Heartthrob Exhaust. Can't help you with fitment on a 2wd but I installed one on a 4wd a couple of years ago. It was the best fitting kit I've ever used, great price too.

Go to your local muffler shop and have them install a welded system and be done with it in a few hours . Unless you just like the UPS truck ?

Re: LMC 2 1/4" dual exhaust system ?
Cheaper is nice...if you get a good product. But I'm a custom exhaust kinda guy. To me it is worth any extra to choose how your pipes route, exit, diameter, as well as know the quality of the pipe used. I don't like any part of my exhaust to run lower than my frame. Got to go custom for that.

Re: LMC 2 1/4" dual exhaust system ?
The duals ,I had the stock option . Nice and quiet. Had the single with the other sounds good.
My 4wd with the duals the exhaust is tucked up nice inside the frame rails . Only hiccup was clearing where linkage to the tranny hookup to the tranny (automatic btw) paid the muffler shop 40 bucks to fix it |

Re: LMC 2 1/4" dual exhaust system ?
Toms67, Thanks for the pictures. They helped a lot. At first I thought they mismarked the pipes that go over the swing arms for the wrong side but they worked. First thought that you put the mufflers vertical by preference but that is how they have to go isn't it. Tilted mine just a little. I have the rear from the cab back installed and now have to figure out how to connect them to my big block manifolds.

Re: LMC 2 1/4" dual exhaust system ?
Yes they were marked wrong. But you can pretty much tell right away. The first set of tail pipes i received. Where one piece. They replaced them with a two piece set. A lot better fitment. Yes I had to install the mufflers vertical. I am going straight out the back with mine. On the big block I am not sure what you have to do for fitment. Unless they make a special donut gasket that will adapt? Good luck.

Re: LMC 2 1/4" dual exhaust system ?
Did My 6 cylinder short box a few months ago. Fit looks like what I replaced. Fit is Good, I think. Sounds Good to. Old exhaust was rotted and I believe it was Factory.
Did a dual Kit on My 4x4 a few years ago and it fit Good also. Reason I chose the LMC/HeartThrob is because they are Mandrel bent, don't lose pipe size. Ron
