3/4T 4x4 Hubcaps for Jeff's bowtie's

Here's a set I just converted & restored for Jeff. They were originally nice caps but I worked out the dents and polished the faces to make all of them match. I included new decals. Maybe he will show us when he gets them installed.

I still have a set of GMC that I can also convert. $400 with original finish or $500 worked with polished faces.

Re: 3/4T 4x4 Hubcaps for Jeff's bowtie's

Sorry for my ignorance. A set of 3/4 ton 4x4 hubcaps go for $400-$500 ?

I’m currently looking for some for my 72 k5, just had no clue they were that spendy.

No buddy, restored. Everything doesn't have to be new to be nice. These are nicer than N.O.S. They were never that shiny new.

roOteran, you don't need 8-lug caps do you? If you have 6-lugs you need K/5-K/10 caps and nice sets can be had for 1/2 the cost in general. Far more plentiful originally and after the years have passed, with 8-lug trucks living a generally rougher life as well as few fancy trucks.

Re: 3/4T 4x4 Hubcaps for Jeff's bowtie's

Like specialK said, K5 1/2T caps are about half the cost of the 3/4Ts. I normally don't do that "highly-highly" polished finish because they have to all be ground down and brought back to shine like that.
They are much closer to the look of the '69-'72 original caps (the originals were "chrome". We have all been running so many later year stainless, that has a duller brushed look, and forget how shiny the original were.

You were right... just 6 lugs. Once I get them powder coated I’ll be looking for a set of GMC 4x4 caps. You said they’re pretty easy to find a decent set?

Thanx for the help!

Re: 3/4T 4x4 Hubcaps for Jeff's bowtie's

None of these stainless caps are "easy" to find, but there are more 1/2T than 3/4T. GMC are a little harder to find.

I have one nice set of GMC 4x4 left.

I have at least a two week workload, before I can start on a set, so order early. I will include the black outer ring decals (you install).
Remember, Washington State will charge sales tax on everything.
