Gas overflow problem
Just finished my '74 K5 and she's looking good! My only problem is when I go to fill her with gas, no matter how careful I am it will puke gas out the filler and down the side on my beautiful new paint job...)-;
It will even do it in the middle of fueling kind of like a "burp". Then always at the end. I've tried holding the nozzle rubber firmly to the side and still a problem. Any advice out there? Anyone else have this problem? Thanks

Re: Gas overflow problem
I’ve always done the ‘crank’!
Crank (rotate) the nozzle handle around until it’s at about 2 o’clock and fill it up. You even need to do this on a properly vented tank. |

Re: Gas overflow problem
make sure your fill tube isn't pinched as well...there was a burb question on the same thing a while back..he changed fill tube and solved his problem
