How rare is a factory tachometer in 1966

A friend of mine has a 66 long bed c10 that needs full restoration. It has a factory tachometer. He dad had restored several of the 66 customs and said that this was the only one he'd ever seen. Just wondering how rare of a option it is. I'm thinking of building something out of this cab but might restore the truck if it is special.

While the Tachometer was an option throughout the series , it was mainly optioned in the Heavy and Medium duty trucks. To find one in a pickup would be scarce. I would not consider this as special.

I've got 2 or 3 of them, you will find them in C60 C80 trucks but not all by any means. once in awhile you will see one in a pickup but not very often.

Information from the 1963 Data Book. Should be similar in the 1966.
