73-87 Dash Bezel

If any of you have followed my '74 C20 Build, you know I spent a lot of time and money on a custom dash bezel for my Speed Hut Gauges. . . only to find out that the bezel did not work for my setup.

In my haste to get the truck out of the shop, I purchased a solid, used OEM bezel on Ebay, listed for a '74, and after much modifications, sent the bezel out for hydro dipping in Red and Black Carbon Fiber. All this was done without going to the shop to verify that the Ebay bezel was the correct year. . . it clearly wasn't.

When I tried to install it, the windshield wiper lever was not going to fit; it was positioned about 1/2" too high... and the headlight pull knob hole was WAAAAY too big. Mine was the smaller hole on a pyramid type raised area.

This led me having to cut up my original dash, which I was saving, and go in a different direction. . . as a painful temporary fix.

I have decided to part with the dash. Anyone interested, needs to be REAL SURE this dash will work for their rig.

I am selling it for $200 plus the ride. Includes the lower column trim. The dash was customized to work with the Speed Hut low profile gauges, but any gauges that are the same diameter, should work just fine. The bezel was sanded, filled and primed before dipping.

Here are some photos: (Had to add images one at a time to get it to work. . . weird)

Re: 73-87 Dash Bezel

The bezel in question is for a 78-80 without A/C, if I am looking at the right one.
