Looking for a clean (inside) behind the seat gas tank, must be willing to box and ship.

Re: WTB clean 67-72 fuel tank

I have one still installed in a '70 3/4 ton, appears to be very solid and good condition. Am willing to ship but not sure about the cost of such. Will have to check with our local UPS shipping and see what all is involved shipping a gas tank. Have shipped large items before, just not a gas tank. Would have to build a crate and secure for shipment, what ever that would cost material wise, no labor, would be in addition to the tank and shipping cost. $50 for the tank plus other charges. Money order, do not have Paypal. Let me know if interested and I will look into doing so.

If you’re willing to pull the sending unit out and verify that it’s not rusty, I would take it, (if it’s clean) if it’s not convenient to do so, I’ll understand.
Thanks, Nic

Perfectly willing to pull the sending unit and inspect the tank. Not a problem at all, just give me a few days to get that accomplished. Recovering from minor surgery and under Dr. orders to stay out excessive cold/wind as much as possible.

I've never used them however, I hear that Fastenal will ship large items at a decent price. If you have one reasonably close, you might check with them. Good luck with your deal.

good luck with shipping. that'll be 'hazardous material' empty or not. it'll cost a fortune to ship.
