OH Blue Seatbelts, Complete Set - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have a very nice set of Blue Seatbelts. Absolutely no fading. I thoroughly cleaned the belts and they look even better. They retract just fine. Metal buckles are in great shape. Just some minor surface rust on the anchor plates. I have these listed on Ebay also. $225 plus shipping in a Flat Rate Box $18

They came out of an 85.

The center belt with the 2 metal buckles is cracked where they make a Y. I have never seen a set that hasn't been cracked. But overall, these are about the best condition I have ever seen in seatbelts that are 30+ years old

So these belts match the blue of my 86' C10. I happened to snag a pair of 'blue' outside belts from an 85' C10 that I thought could replace the ones in my truck. However, when I got home, I found that thew ones I happened upon were actually a really dark blue, almost grey color when compared to my set. Is there (2) different shades of blue in these model years? The ones I got are definitely not the same blue as the ones that are in my truck.

Best to my knowledge, there is only one shade of blue from 81-87. I don't have pics of all the colors of blue from the earlier models, but here's a list:

73-74 Slate Blue
75-76 Blue
77-78 Blue
79 Blue
80 Blue
81-87 Blue

Strange, thanks for the information. The blue belts that came in my C10 match somewhere between the 80' Blue and the 81-87' Blue (they might just be a little faded?). The other set that I have don't seem to match up to any of these shades of blue. I wonder if it actually isn't blue? I'll have to take some pictures and post them to the 81-87 forum.
