Tire sizes

Ok Boyz I know there is lots of thing to consider when buying new tires
I have a 4 " lift with 32 x 11 .5 R 15 BFG All Terrain tires. When I turn the tire my truck has 2 3/4 clearance between the fender and tire tread.

The question is do you think 35 x 12.5 x 15 will rub

I do have a 4" lift on the truck

My Girl Friend is telling me I NEED BIGGER TIRES

Re: Tire sizes

EDIT: That doesn't look like a 4" lift to me since the 32" tire goes so up into the well. Pictures of my truck from the side show the bottom of the fender hook in the front is just about same height as my 16.5' rim. Which is further from the center of the axle than your 15. And your fender is below the edge of the wheel. Think you have 2 1/2" lift. I'd stay away from 35's

Depends on several things. 10" rim with 4.5" backspace will probably not rub for mall-crawling. But good chance it will off-road. Depending on the rear lift whether blocks or springs and if they have moved the pin to the front to maintain driveshaft length it could rub on the leading edge of the quarter.

I have 35 12.5 16.5 on my Jimmy with 9.75 wide wheel and 4.5" backspace. It rubs on one of the front fenders mostly because the poor job done fixing that fender before my Dad bought the truck in '76! And the 35 14.5 Mickey Thompsons that were on my 15x10 3.5" backspace Centerlines rubbed on the rear quarter. I had taken out a pie shaped wedge about 1/2" thick at the bottom so my wheelwell doesn't have the hook the stock one does. WHen I did the semi-float 14 bolt swap I had to redrill the perch and move housing back an inch because my custom CV driveshaft would have been too long. Turns out this is a great mod that center wheel in the rear.

I would try and find someone to borrow some wheels/tires from and test fit.
