1967 C10 build. “4 into 1”

So back at the end of October I purchased 4 1967 C10s in various states of disrepair. I have owned several 67 to 72s over the years and have always loved the body style. I made the decision to go all in and build a short bed out of the 4. Going to try to get current on my progress.

Re: 1967 C10 build. “4 into 1”

Should be a nice combo with 373 rear end gears. Getting ready to paint the roof ivory. Hopefully tomorrow night. That gets me current in a hurry. So much good info on this forum thanks to all for sharing the wealth of knowledge. I bought a premium membership to start selling off extra parts in the classifieds. Posted some stuff today. Much more to come.

Looks like you are going to have one nice little ride. I'm a fan of a built 283. Had one in my Nova and loved it. Good luck with the rest of your project.

Re: 1967 C10 build. “4 into 1”

Here is a question. Maybe google could answer it for me but I will ask here. If you look above at the picture of the firewall cowl area. Why are there 3 spots for wiper arms?

Re: 1967 C10 build. “4 into 1”

Looking Good, Billy Ray!!!!

I have a 283, built it in 1983, put 175,000 on it in my 67 Bel Air. I still have it, the car was not worth keeping, may install it in my 67 C10, for at least temporary engine. I have a 406 waiting in the wings.

What rear gear do you have??? just wondering. a 3.73 would be great for the 283.
