Cheyenne super green interior question

I am no expert on Cheyenne Supers so maybe more than one answer to this question.

On a 71 Super that has the dark green interior are the bench seats vinyl and cloth, or vinyl with scroll, or??

I have a line on a complete Super interior minus the seat. It had buckets but they are long gone.

Re: Cheyenne super green interior question

Green buckets would have been vinyl with scroll

Bench would have been green vinyl, no scroll
With houndstooth inserts

At least on 72 supers
I believe 71 would be the same

Re: Cheyenne super green interior question

Yes I saw the buckets way back when the fella got this truck.

If I pick up the interior that's left Ill be using a bench instead of buckets. Curious to what cover the bench would have had in the dark green Cheyenne Super configuration.

olive Cheyenne Super bench seats - 71 and 72 only, and the same in both years. Would say something like "Olive Custom Cloth" on the SPID if bench was original.

Re: Cheyenne super green interior question

Ive been doing some digging and just found this out ... thanks for posting. Now I have to see if anyone reproduces this in green. Cant pull any triggers until I know I can get the match to go with the rest of the interior.

Almost everyone makes the olive one. It was one of only 3 factory houndstooth bench options for Cheyenne Supers: Olive, Blue, Parchment (they did not make a black one, despite what you see available today aftermarket). I THINK I bought the one on the left from Frank (member PICKMUP) - but it was quite a while ago. It might have been Tim (member Truckseats). I have seen the Southwest Classics one in person, and that is what I'm going to replace the one on the right with - already purchased it. It's a dead ringer for the original color olive.

SW Classics $329 - https://www.swclassics.com/parts/ite...oth-inserts-ea

Personally I prefer to buy from a member, ya get better service, and I have purchased several from members - but I happened to need an olive one and saw it in person at the GoodGuys show and grabbed it on sale.

Re: Cheyenne super green interior question

I bought a black with houndstooth from Frank years ago. Ive also purchased covers from truckseats. Seems like Tim has had some difficulties with his suppliers though. Ill do some digging.
