MD WTB - Door Panel Lower Screw Washers - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Need 8 of the tapered washers that fit the lower door panel retaining screws. These go in between 4 lower door panel screws and the door panels. They are tapered just like the stainless screws.

Will pay $5.00 each but must be nice.

I have a place that is supposed to be making a run but they won’t be ready until mid July. I have tried every single fastener manufacturer. They make one size smaller but not the 1/4”.

So Dustin - I have also been beating the bushes. Every manufacturer, distributor, upholstery shop, marine supply, hardware store and on and on... I did order some of the next size smaller from Fastenal, will post results. I have a couple of friends with lathes who have offered up to make dies and stamp some but I told them to hold off until we confirm that there isn't any other option...

So back to the original request - anyone have any of these? Dustin needs 8, I need 5 but will take 8. Again, I will pay $5 each for any in good condition.

They are 1/4”. I contacted them already. I may try to see how far off a #12 washer is.

Hey Grumpy - appreciate the leads and your time to help us research sources. Unfortunately, I've hit all of those links you sent us. No dice... Seems like no one carries the flush mount washers in the size #12. The screws are 12-24 (1/4inch diameter but I'm sure you know that) That info is for some of the younger guys that may not know what the heck we're talking about.) Maybe you're not so Grumpy after all!
