I have a 1970 c-10 the front engine code is V0331TAX rear code looks to be a
3970010 So that is a Flint 350 CID march 31 with 255hp 4 barrel? Did i get all that right? If so it looks to be the original motor. I am a newbie but i think it got it correct just wanted someone to confirm that if they had a few moments! Thanks

Yeah its an automatic. Not the original tranny. Its a new rebuilt one with less than 1500 miles on it. Actually its a pain to go from park to reverse in it. Something to do with the steering column. You just pull it over hard.. it wont pull in then down at all.. just down into gear. this next weekends project to see what the problem is.

Nevermind waiting until the weekend.. I just searched the site found a solution. Went out and sprayed some wd40 in the column. Works great now! This site is so great!
