Re: Wanted: '47-'50 Left Cowl Vent Door
I have one, contact me through a PM with an address and I will box it up, shipping is all I will need from you. Now, unless you have something I need and we can trade. I need a drivers door outside window moulding if you have it that would be so cool!
But either way I will send you that side cowl vent. Brian

Re: Wanted: '47-'50 Left Cowl Vent Door
I am thinking the metal ones, I have to cut them as I have a chopped top. I have a few for the right but my left ones are all damaged.
I would be interesting the stainless though, in a pair. And of course I would pay you for those if you have them. I have no idea of the value of this cowl vent compared or any of that crap. I will give you the cowl vent, no problem, send me your address and it's in the mail. Brian

Cool!
But let me know where I can send that side cowl vent. It has the handle too. And if you want the surround around it that I cut off the cab. But that would need a much larger box. Brian

Re: Wanted: '47-'50 Left Cowl Vent Door
It turns out Dwayne gave me a cowl vent door with some other items that I purchased. However, I scoured the yard and came across this: I believe this is a 54 GMC that has the stainless you were looking for. Let me know if you want me to check into it and I can get some pricing for you.

Re: Wanted: '47-'50 Left Cowl Vent Door
It's cool, I'll come up with one. Damn, I hate to see that truck parted out! Not sure if the vent window doors have a different moulding anyway. I know I thought the inside ones were the same outside of the knock to clear the vent hinge. That was until I cut one up for my top chop and found that they are a different thickness because the vent window doors had no frame around the glass!
