What year is this from

Stick shift tilt steering wheel that came with someone else's project that I bought. An '87 and I know its NOT an '87 tilt. I take it it's not 81-87. Is it year specific?
thanks

Turn and tilt knobs match the ones on my 75. Steering wheel is similar but has a far larger horn button. But wheels are easy to change so could easily not be original to column.

Re: What year is this from

The column-mounted wiper and dimmer didn't start til 1984.
Those controls could be from 73-83.

Look at the harmonica plug. Prior to 78 they were shorter than the 78 and later plugs...

Not sure when GM went from splined to D shafts.

Absolutely 78 and earlier with splined lower shaft. Is the lower tilt bowl 1 piece metal or 2 piece with metal upper and plastic lower?
