Greetings from NC! ('72 C/10)

Recently I have purchased a 1972 LWB C/10 truck. Only had 66,000 miles on the clock. Power Steering/AC/Power Brakes/Automatic. 350 with turbo transmission. Typical cab corner rust and rockers. Otherwise a pretty good old truck. Just wanting to make it a fun cruiser for around town.

Ive been a Paramedic for 25 years, currently working in hospital administration nor affiliated with emergency services. Also pursuing my MBA, which cuts into my "fix up the truck money"

I do some antique tractor pulling with a 560D Farmall. I love to tinker on stuff. Im one of several moderators of a pretty big gun forum website based in NC but for the carolinas. So, I realize how important like minded folks being together for help on projects and general knowledge!

Ive been looking for a little truck for a project for awhile and stumbled across this one my neighbor had. I was looking for an older one, but this one will do just fine. And as we all know, 98% of them are rust buckets, or priced too high. Or both. LOL.

Im glad to be here. Looks like there are other NC folks on here. I look forward to advice from you guys when I need it. I already have little projects lined up and I have already gotten a lot of knowledge reading through the threads. So, for that, I thank you!

Look forward to getting involved on the forum!

Michael.

Actually, CSF, but now I have another to join. My truck had the same color interior as yours. If you need something, let me know. Mine is a 68 so there may be some differences.

I was just telling the GF how nice these looked in 4WD. You have almost the same truck! Gotta blue steering wheel laying around? Glad I'm not bigger, I wouldn't fit behind it!

Actually, I have a really nice one, but I wouldn't call it blue. It is more aqua and I have been debating fixing the small cracks in it and having it painted black to match my interior now. I have a three spoke Corvette style wheel in it right now that looks great, but the adapter kit just doesn't do what it should.
