good/bad idea? 67 cab onto 81 chassis

My 67 is a 3/4 ton and I am thinking about putting it on a 1/2 ton chasis. I do not have the money to restore to origional anyway,(so i dont want any purists telling me it is a bad idea) but if anybody has done this and/or knows of any problems i might encounter if i do this I would greatly appreciate any info.
Oh yeah, It's great to be back surfin' the board!

I have done a 4x4 but not a 2wheel drive. I'm sure they would be some differences.

If you are doing a 2 wheel drive, you'll still need a body lift. Otherwise, mudder67 is the man to talk to on this (since he has done it).

Its possible....but it might be easier to find a frame from a 71-72 C10.....then you will get disc brakes and maybe even coil springs too. Plus the body would bolt right on
